Air Seeding & Machinery Operators – Great Southern, WA
Duration: 3–6 months (potential ongoing work)

The Company Our client is a market-leading mixed cropping business operating across multiple states, specialising in wheat, barley and canola. They operate late-model John Deere machinery and modern precision ag systems.
We are seeking experienced seeding staff to join their team for the upcoming program.

Positions Available
1 x Senior Seeding Operator

• John Deere 9R 590
• 33t Bourgault 9950 tow-behind
• 60ft DBS bar

1 x Machinery Operator

• John Deere 8R 310 with rock picker
• Progression to seeder (evening shift rotation)

1 x Ground Person

• Seeding support and general farm duties

Key Duties (Across All Roles)

• Air seeding and pre-seeding preparation
• Rock picking, deep ripping, chisel ploughing, Kelly chaining
• Boom spraying and fertiliser spreading
• GPS and precision ag system operation
• Machinery setup, calibration and monitoring
• General servicing and preventative maintenance
• Workshop and property maintenance
• Supporting planting logistics (seed, fertiliser, fuel)

Requirements

• Broadacre cropping experience
• Large-scale tractor and machinery operation
• Mechanical aptitude
• GPS guidance experience
• Ability to work extended hours during seeding
