Job Support Worker - Geraldton (EOI), Geraldton

Hourly Rate Range: $27.35 - $34.78 (plus Super & NFP Salary Packaging)

We’re looking for Support Workers in Geraldton to join genU and support people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives. Working across accommodation and community settings, you’ll provide tailored, person-centred support and build strong, positive relationships along the way. Current Opportunities

We are currently able to offer flexible, custom rosters based on your availability and our vacant shifts. Shifts may be scheduled between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday, with occasional overnight shifts also available.

• Permanent part-time positions (60+ hours per fortnight)
• Casual positions available

What you’ll do

• Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them
• Join customers in the community and do recreational activities
• Support customers in accommodation with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
• Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What you’ll bring

• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
• Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience;
• Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
• Ability to follow person centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
• Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) - beneficial;
• A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate)

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
